The aim of the Vzlet Gallery is to make contemporary art accessible to everyone who uses public space and Vzlet – from children to seniors. That's why we've initiated projects marked by communication, diverse expression and participation. We collaborate with prominent artists as well as those embarking on their artistic careers.
The curator of the Vzlet Gallery is Denisa Václavová.
Galerie Rohovka
You can access this corner glass area through the Vzlet Café. The exhibitions in Rohovka change several times a year, and you can view them from the street, even if you're just passing by. The Rohovka Gallery's opening hours coincide with those of the café.
Free admission.

Vasil Artamonov: Bird's-eye View
The Bird's-eye View exhibition captures what surrounds the artist.
The works have been created over the past three years and tell a metaphorical story interwoven into small chapters. The backdrop is our over-technological world, which we share with others whose perspectives can be very different.
The exhibition opened on February 28 and will last until the end of May.
Banner on the building facade
A large banner proudly decorates the façade of Vzlet on the corner of Norská and Holandská streets. It changes twice a year, usually in January with the arrival of the new year and in September with the beginning of the new theatre season.
What's on no:
Jiří Petrbok: Fairytale
Petrbok's paintings possess a bewitching energy and a certain tension, offering viewers other worlds that feel surprisingly familiar. This is likely due to the author's subtle shifts in reality, overlapping familiar situations and images, and placing them into new contexts.
The exhibition opened on February 28 and will last until the end of September.
Exhibition space in the large foyer
The area just before you enter the large hall of Vzlet is the Large Foyer. The exhibitions here are connected to the outdoor banner and change twice a year. You can view these works when you attend one of our cultural events. Unfortunately, it is not possible to freely move around the Vzlet building outside of these events. All the more reason to attend a concert or show!
Exhibition space: Library in Vzlet café
Art flies with us! In our café, a shelf spans the entire width of one wall. Alongside books, you will find works by young artists. The Library's opening hours are the same as the café's.
What's on now:
Subtle Synergy
The exhibition offers an excursion into the work of young artists emerging from the Czech art scene. The selection of works, hosted on the shelves of Vzlet throughout the season, was created by the artistic group Hilda Kolektiv.
